As our first dedicated Data and AI Analyst, you’ll play a key role in building our data infrastructure and delivering advanced analytics that drive smarter decisions and underpin our growth.

About the Role

This newly created position is a rare opportunity to shape how data and AI are embedded in our business from the ground up. You'll work cross-functionally and with external vendors to:

• Build and maintain clean, high-quality datasets.
• Develop insightful dashboards and BI tools using Power BI.
• Lead AI initiatives — designing and deploying custom AI agents with Claude, Copilot, and other cutting-edge tools.
• Create ML pipelines for pricing models, customer insight, and automation.
• Drive responsible data governance and model transparency.

Tech You’ll Use:

• SQL, Python, Power BI.
• Azure Data Services, Claude, Microsoft Copilot.
• AI agentic frameworks, ML pipeline tools (e.g., MLflow or Azure ML).
• APIs, automation scripts, prompt engineering techniques.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong foundations in the Tech you use.
• Experience across data wrangling, pipeline development, and visualisation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and platforms — including agentic AI, prompt engineering, and model monitoring.
• An ability to work across data sets, spot patterns, and draw actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
• You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.

 Bonus If You Have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance frameworks, and responsible AI.
• Exposure to Azure, NLP, or predictive modelling.
