We're looking for a curious, capable National Recoveries Officer to join our National Recoveries team, based in our North Sydney office. If you take ownership, communicate clearly and want your work to make a real difference to the communities we protect, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Identify, review and pursue recovery opportunities across relevant claims.
• Follow up third-party insurers for updates and recovery payments.
• Instruct and manage external providers, including recovery agents and legal representatives.
• Draft and manage written correspondence on recovery matters.
• Liaise with Accounts on receipting and allocation of recovered funds, and process excess reimbursements to insured parties on finalisation.
• Maintain accurate records across all recovery files and support the wider claims team.

What you'll bring

• Experience in an administrative or customer service role.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement with sensitive or confidential matters.
• Genuine curiosity - you ask questions, chase the detail and want to understand how things work.
• Property claims, strata, debt collection or insurance recoveries experience is highly regarded, but not essential. We'll teach you the rest.
