We’re now looking for an experienced Liability Claims Consultant to join our team and play a key role in managing complex strata liability claims from start to finish. This is an opportunity for a technically strong claims professional who enjoys ownership, problem solving, and building strong relationships with brokers, strata managers, and legal partners.

Location options - Sydney or Melbourne

The Role

In this role you will proactively manage a portfolio of liability claims, including personal injury, property liability and office bearers liability, ensuring each claim is handled with technical expertise, efficiency, and a high standard of service.

You’ll investigate, assess and negotiate claims outcomes while ensuring compliance with policy conditions, common law principles and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of a portfolio of 100–130 liability claims (personal injury, property liability, and office bearers liability)
• Investigate liability, policy coverage and indemnity positions
• Assess and settle legitimate claims accurately and efficiently
• Negotiate outcomes with insurers, legal representatives and clients
• Maintain accurate claim files, process payments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify escalation points and manage claims exceeding authority limits
• Work closely with lawyers, assessors, Allianz and other key stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with brokers, strata managers and underwriters
• Provide insights that support underwriting and risk management decisions

About You

You’re a confident and technically capable claims professional who takes pride in delivering fair and timely outcomes.

You’ll bring:
• Experience managing liability claims portfolios end-to-end.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to balance accuracy, compliance and efficiency across a caseload.
• A proactive, curious and solutions-focused mindset.
