Job Description
In this key position, you will deliver on pricing analysis, data management, portfolio analysis and performance to ensure strategies align with the company’s objectives. You will also play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining the integrity of data used in decision-making processes.
Locations flexible toSydney Melbourne or Brisbane
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Refine and improve pricing models, track KPIs, and analyse underwriting data to identify trends and opportunities.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement underwriting and data strategies that drive profitability and risk management.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure underwriting outcomes and practices comply with policies and regulations.
Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, while enhancing team capabilities through training.
Stakeholder Management: Engage internal and external partners to ensure effective underwriting practices and facilitate industry engagement
Desired Skills and Experience
To Succeed, you will need:
Actuarial and/or mathematics degree and experience in pricing development and implementation.
Experience in delivery of pricing change and portfolio analysis.
In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles and regulatory requirements.
Experience in data analysis and use of external sources of data to build pricing gaps, working with partners to develop best practice.
Proven leadership experience in an insurance environment with a focus on portfolio management and governance.
Expertise in analytical tools, data management, and strategic thinking.
