Job Description
As an Underwriter you will contribute to achieving our mission by negotiating new business and renewal terms while delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction for all key partnerships in the Strata Community.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate new and renewal business programmes for residential Strata buildings to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Develop and grow our market presence by nurturing relationships with our chosen intermediaries through exceptional service.
Partner with the Claims team to gain a better understanding of insurance risk.

Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by strong communication and active listening skills.
Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
Self-starter who is flexible, outcome orientated and productivity focus while supporting teamwork, diversity and collaboration.
Highly competent in Office 365. Insurance and Claim Systems experience would be highly regarded.
Desired Skills and Experience
Prior experience and knowledge:
Experience in the General Insurance Industry gained in Customer Service, Underwriting or Claims.
Tertiary education and Insurance qualifications will be highly regarded.
