Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant is a pivotal role within the SCI business. You will provide high-quality executive support to the CEO and Managing Director, extend administrative support to the broader Leadership Team, and take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our North Sydney office, our largest location.
Core responsibilities include:
Executive & Administrative Support
- Comprehensive diary, scheduling and meeting coordination for the CEO and Managing Director.
- Extending administrative support to the broader Leadership Team as the primary contact for the CEO Office.
- Preparing agendas, presentations and minutes for leadership meetings and business forums.
- Coordinating business travel for the CEO and Managing Director, with ad hoc personal travel assistance as required.
- Managing expense reconciliation and monthly credit card management for the CEO and Managing Director.
- Overseeing subscriptions and accounts relating to the CEO and Leadership Team.
- Supporting leadership projects and business initiatives, including all-employee events and communications.
Office Operations
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our North Sydney office, including but not limited to facilities, catering, building management, security and office supplies.
- Leading office improvement projects from planning through to implementation.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for building management and external vendors.
People & Culture
- Partnering with the People & Culture team to develop and implement workplace initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive and values-aligned culture.
- Supporting employee events, recognition activities and all-employee communications.
You will bring to this role:
- Significant experience supporting senior executives in a comparable EA role, including demonstrated exposure to broader leadership team support.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgement, absolute discretion and integrity.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to forward plan, manage competing priorities and mitigate issues proactively.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and composure under pressure.
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related discipline will be well regarded.
- Experience within insurance or financial services will be highly regarded.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our North Sydney office. Given the nature of executive support, consistent in-person presence is essential to the success of this position. Flexibility is available to manage personal commitments as needed.
